Bush Tax Cuts Contribute to Deficit Spinning Out of Control
Retired Republican Senator of New Mexico, Pete Domenici, is a senior fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a non-profit organization looking for ways to reduce the deficit and debt. Absent immediate action, the group predicts publicly held debt will spiral out of control. "Does it [extending Bush tax cuts] make it harder to get us where we have to go? Yes," he said.
